A place to discuss all things Hastings on Hudson

While I have not seen that we have officially made the list, we ought to have. If you agree, I found one link which I will share where you can vote for us, provided that the organization adds Hastings-on-Hudson to their list. Otherwise, you can vote for Greenburgh and write us in the box below that. Here is the link:

Many of us moved here from somewhere else. Several of us migrated up the river from NYC and, speaking for myself, I think this is THE best places to live! in the greater NY Metropolitan area.

Our schools are simply great, our Farmer's Market is "beast" as my kids would say, our river views and sunsets are gorgeous, the people in our community are caring, bright, interesting, talented, fun and funky, and we are minutes from NYC. AND we can park relatively easily and for many, in our driveways or on our streets, with little to no trouble.

We have wonderful festivals, great fairs, lovely shops, great restaurants and coffee houses, a vibrant community and a beautiful library. We have a great town pool, many terrific playing fields and many fun playgrounds for the younger children.

i hope you will take the time to vote for Hastings-on-Hudson in the Relocate America's Top 100 Places to Live for 2010.

Thank you!!! See you around town!

Yes it is great here BUT how do we get downtown to be more flourishing? Get more great new businesses to move in? A bubble tea shop with frozen yogurt, happier health food store? etc etc?

We need those empty storefronts filled! A BBQ place, a sushi place, a soup/sandwich place... a gym... a daycare...
no more banks, no more insurance agencies, no more nail salons, no more real estate agencies!
